Indiana529 Direct is a tax-advantaged way to pay for future education expenses, no matter what path your child may take. The 529 plan makes saving for tech or trade school, college, or registered apprenticeships easy for families to utilize and can help you save on your taxes.
According to their website, "Indiana529 savings can be used at any eligible higher education institution in the country or abroad, including 2- and 4-year colleges, graduate schools, vocational/technical schools, and even registered apprenticeships. Savings can be used for a variety of qualified education expenses, including tuition, fees, certain room & board costs, computers, and course-related software."
Tax Credits
Indiana taxpayers may be eligible for a state income tax credit equal to 20% of their contributions to an Indiana529 plan account (up to $1,500 per year or $750 for married filing separately). Third-party contributors (who are also Indiana taxpayers) may also be eligible for the tax credit if they contribute to your account.c
21st Century Scholars

Century Scholars is a state-funded scholarship program that allows financially eligible students to afford college. It provides up to 100% tuition coverage at in-state colleges and universities with partial scholarships available for private schools in Indiana.
According to their website, "In high school and in college, each grade level has activities that should be completed each year. Scholars must complete the specific steps and track their progress online using ScholarTrack."
