Fees FAQ

Charges related to lost/damaged textbooks or technology devices can be charged to the student, but can be paid to the school corporation by DCS. Please contact your Family Case Manager for additional information and proper procedures.

Fees can be paid online via credit card through the EzSchoolPay website. This is the same parent payment portal that is used for school lunch accounts. A $2 transaction fee will apply for payments.

At this time, in order to insure compatibility within the classroom, students need to use the technology provided by the school corporation. Students will also need a school approved case before they are issued an iPad or MacBook.

There are multiple ways to pay your student fees. You can:

1. Make check payable to HHSC and send it to school with your student. Please make sure that their name and grade are clearly marked on the envelope so we can apply it to the correct account;
2. Pay your balance through the High School office with cash, check or money order made payable to HHSC, from 8am-3pm on school days;
3. Checks made payable to HHSC can be mailed to:

4. Pay via credit card online (please see “Can I pay online?” below; credit card payments cannot be processed over the phone or in person).

LHLC balances can be viewed by creating a Parent Portal account at MyProcare.com using the email address we have on file. You can pay your balance while on the Parent Portal. Cash, check, or money orders can be dropped in the drop box outside of LHLC doors (Door N), but please email Sara Cox if you do so. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone for LHLC
balances only by contacting Sara Cox at (317) 984-1530, ext. 4062.

If your student is leaving the district or graduating, you may request a refund check for credit balances of $10 or more. If your student is returning to Hamilton Heights, then the credit will be applied to the following school year.

Beginning in January 2016, student fees balances left unpaid were sent to Kinum Collections after their final due date. Please contact Jen Kauffman at 317-984-3551 ext. 1012 with questions about Kinum balances.

If you received a letter from the Indiana Department of Revenue regarding your tax refund being reduced in order to pay the balance owed to Hamilton Heights School Corporation, you can still pay your balance directly to Hamilton Heights within a 30-day window. If after 30 days the balance is still unpaid, the Indiana Department of Revenue will forward the portion of your tax refund to Hamilton Heights to pay your student’s balance.

Prior to January 2016, student fees balances left unpaid were sent to CSI Collections after their final due date. When these balances were sent to collections we were no longer able to receive payments or make any type of payment arrangements. All payments related to these student fees now need to be handled directly through CSI Collections. You can contact them at the number below to make payment on your outstanding balance.

If you owe a fee for damages or lost curricular materials, you will receive a statement in the mail. You may also contact Jen Kauffman, Student Receivables/ECA Treasurer, at (317) 984-3551, ext. 1012, and she can send a student statement via email or mail.
