In Algebra I and II, they'll:

• Classify, graph, and compare real numbers
• Represent mathematical relationships using graphs
• Simplify expressions involving zero and negative exponents
• Solve quadratic equations by graphing and using square roots, factoring, completing the square, and the quadratic formula
• Multiple matrices using scalar and matrix multiplication
• Multiply and divide radical expressions

In Geometry, they'll:

• Prove theorems about parallel lines
• Find measures of angles of triangles
• Find and use relationships in similar right triangles
• Identify congruence transformations
• Find the surface area of a prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone, and spheres

In Pre-Calculus and Calculus, students will:

• Graph parabolas and determine a function's minimum or maximum value
• Recognize and use vocabulary of angles, degree, and radian measure
• Solve applied problems using the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines
• Define the derivatives of functions and use derivative notation
• Connect functions, first, and second derivatives
• Sketch and reason with slope fields

In Statistics, students will:

• Identify what makes some graphs of categorical data misleading
• Calculate conditional relative frequencies from a two-way table
• Distinguish between explanatory and response variables for quantitative data
• Explain the concept of confounding and how it limits the ability to make cause-and-effect conclusions
• Calculate the mean and standard deviation of the sum or difference of random variables
• Perform a significance test about a difference between two proportions
