We've compiled a hub of resources for parents of gifted children. These resources will help you learn more about how you can best support your child in both intellectual and emotional capacities.

According to their website, the Council for Exceptional Children is the largest international professional organization dedicated to improving the success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. The site offers various training and resources, including webinars, books, and documents.
The mission of the Davidson Institute is to "recognize, nurture, and support profoundly intelligent young people and to provide opportunities for them to develop their talents to make a positive difference." They offer an array of supportive opportunities, like Young Scholars, a free source of resources and general support. It provides webinars, events, and more. Davidson Institute offers summer programs as well.
Hoagies' Gifted Education Page has over 1,150 pages of information on gifted children and adults, making it an immensely valuable resource. It has a lot of densely-packed information, so be ready to read and stay for a while when you visit!
According to their website, the Indiana Association for the Gifted, or IAG, "educates and advocates for meeting the academic and social or emotional needs of gifted youth." This page has links to various parent resources, including interesting articles and information.
In 1982, Center for Talent Development began its journey in helping young people find their strengths and interests while creating their own unique development path. CTD offers programs and courses for all age groups ranging from pre-kindergarten through grade twelve (12). They offer summer, online, and weekend programs, and even have leadership and service-learning.
The National Association for Gifted Children offers lots of reading material, including publications like magazines and reports.
If only finding new books to read was always this easy! Users can check the reading level of a book or get recommendations for books based on interest and reading/grade level.
Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted, or SENG, offers events and programs to help support gifted individuals. SENG has a strong focus on supporting and educating the public about opportunities and challenges faced by gifted individuals. The website has online community groups, webinars, interviews, conferences, and much more.
